Director of Sales & Marketing |
Description: |
| To generate group and
individual business for the hotel. Develop relationships
and establish contacts with local businesses, entertainment
venues, sports organizations, and oversee a sales staff of two. |
Requirements & Performance Indicators: |
- Increase the hotel revenue by actively selling the
property.
- Develop and maintain marketing plan and sales budget.
- Client solicitation/cold/warm call(s) in person and on
the phone.
- Work closely with the General Manager.
- Conduct site tours of the hotel, presentation to
clients and their travel agencies.
- Manage accounts to exceed guest/client expectations.
- Prepare and implement sales and marketing actions plans
to exceed targeted goals.
- Participate in community activities, associate
functions, and guest events.
- Team player.
- Strong computer skills.
- Manage RFP process.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Previous hotel experience required.
- Other duties as assigned.
